Two Years Limited Warranty

Super Cabinet World offers two years Limited Warranty on Cabinetry only to the original homeowner purchaser against defects in workmanship and materials subject to the exclusions and limitations that are indicated below. This warranty applies only to the original homeowner purchaser for as long as they own and reside in the residential structure in which the cabinetry was originally installed. The Super Cabinet World warranty is non-transferable.

The Super Cabinet World warranty (subject to the terms and conditions, exclusions, limitations and disclaimers noted below) covers all standard Super Cabinet World cabinet products that are available. Some replacement parts are subject to availability, and may be different from those originally supplied. Super Cabinet World reserves the right to alter design, specifications and material without obligation to make similar changes to products that are previously manufactured.

The Super Cabinet World Warranty does not cover defects or damage that are not directly or primarily the result of Super Cabinet World design or construction. The warranty does not cover damage caused by others or beyond the control of Super Cabinet World including but not limited to damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, alteration, mishandling, improper installation, improper storage, failure to provide reasonable/necessary maintenance or by fire, flood, earthquake, tornado or other acts of nature. Super Cabinet World is not liable for damages suffered due to delay/failure of delivery when causes are beyond Super Cabinet Worlds’ control such as acts of nature, accidents, shortage of labor and/or raw materials, etc.

In addition to the criteria noted above, the following are excluded or limited in some way from the Super Cabinet World Warranty:

  1. The natural characteristics in the grain, texture and coloring of wood. Wood is a product of nature and will have certain natural characteristics and variances that are not covered under the warranty.
  2. The color of the wood and finish may change during the 2 years of the product especially with certain wood species and with exposure to direct/indirect sunlight and other factors. The color change occurs in both the finish and the wood and is part of the natural ageing process and is not to be considered defect or damage.
  3. The Super Cabinet World Warranty does not cover expansion defects and/or joint separations (most notably with mitered doors) that occur as a result of high humidity/high moisture conditions or exposure to extremes in humidity or temperature.
  4. Super Cabinet World is not intended for exterior or commercial applications and cabinetry used for such applications is not covered under the warranty.
  5. The Super Cabinet World Warranty does not cover cabinetry that is shipped or installed outside the continental Canada and United States.
  6. Accessories, components or parts that are not manufactured by Super Cabinet World are not covered under the Super Cabinet World Warranty but would be covered under their own manufacturer’s warranty.

If warranted products are found to contain defects covered under this limited warranty, Super Cabinet World may either repair the individual cabinet(s), replace the individual cabinet(s), or refund the net purchase price of the individual cabinet(s) to the dealer. In no event shall Super Cabinet World pay for or be held liable for the cost of labor, installation and touch-up of the replacement products or the original products or for any other cost (indirect, consequential or incidental) related to the replacement of products, all of which would be the responsibility of the person making the claim.

If, upon receiving of a shipment, any product that is found to have a defect which can be reasonably discovered upon inspection of the product will have to be notified to the deliverer immediately. Upon delivery, all products should have the packing removed and should be inspected for defects or damage. Any defects or damage must be noted on the shipping documents before the driver leaves. If cabinetry must be stored, it should be covered and stored in a humidity/temperature controlled environment away from direct sunlight; and prior to installation and within seven days of the delivery date, must send written notice of the defect/damage to Super Cabinet World. If a defect is discovered after installation, written notice and pictures of the defect must be sent to your Super Cabinet World Dealer. For a claim to be honored, the claimant must provide information/evidence reasonably required by your Dealer or Super Cabinet World along with a receipt of purchase.

All other Super Cabinet World products will have 1 Year Limited Warranty.

Routine Cleaning and Maintenance

Caring for Exterior, Painted Wood

Superficial surface dirt can be removed by washing painted wood exteriors with water and a soft-bristled, long-handled brush (such as those used for washing cars). Heavier accumulations can be removed with a mild solution of household detergent. Other cleaning solutions consisting of alcohol/water mixtures are also effective.

As with any cleaning operation on a vertical painted surface, streaking will be minimized if the surface is washed from the top to the bottom. Always rinse the surface well with clean water to remove excess detergent solutions or cleaners. Prolonged detergent contact with paint can cause damage to the finish.

Grease or oily materials may require the use of stronger cleaning compounds. Solvents or abrasive-type cleaners should be avoided. Do not allow strong detergents, ammonia, chemicals or other harsh cleaning substances to come in contact with finished exterior surfaces as they can cause damage

Glass Cleaning

For best results, do not clean glass when it is exposed to direct sunlight.

  1. Start cleaning glass at the top of the building and continue to lower levels.
  2. Soak the glass surface with a clean water and soap solution to loosen dirt and debris.
  3. Use a mild, non abrasive window washing solution and apply with a non abrasive applicator.
  4. Immediately after washing the glass, remove all of the cleaning solution with a squeegee, taking care not to allow any metal surface of the cleaning equipment to touch the glass surface.
